On Tuesday 13 September, in the Sala Mengoni inside Carlo Cracco’s restaurant in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, the Panettone Marchesi from Panificio Marchesi in Bergamo was awarded as the Best Panettone in Lombardy and among the top 5 best Panettones in Italy in the Panettone Day competition. The category of reference for the Award is that of Traditional Artisan Panettone. “It is a recognition from critics that makes us very proud and culminates a journey that began over ten years ago of continuous research and improvement both in terms of raw materials and processes, and in communication. We have always thought that our customers deserved the best from all points of view, especially for their Christmas. A celebratory edition of the tenth anniversary of Panettone Day in which on Tuesday 13 September the master Gino Fabbri awarded the pastry chef Silvano Marchesi of the Panificio Marchesi of Bergamo as fourth place in the traditional panettone category.

Next stop: the Temporary Store in Milan with a double appointment in October and November to celebrate 10 years All 33 finalists of the competition will have the opportunity to sell their creations in the Temporary Store that will open from 3 to 30 October, in Corso Garibaldi (corner of Via Palermo 21) in Milan: an address that has now become a point of reference for panettone enthusiasts, which offers an exclusive showcase for pastry chefs in the heart of Brera. To celebrate the 10 years this year the event doubles and in addition to the traditional opening in October, there will be a surprise: from 2 to 27 November the Temporary Store will host a selection of panettone signed by the winners of the last 10 years, who will create a leavened limited edition designed to celebrate this special anniversary. Over the course of these two months at the Temporary Store it will also be possible to purchase the Specialty Coffee 1895 by Lavazza, the collection of excellence developed with mastery and vision by the Coffee Designers and made with the finest coffees in the world, in full respect of Italian tradition.
